• Bible reading progress — stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
• Language preference — stored only on your device.
• Notification settings — stored only on your device.

Device permissions we may request

• iOS — Photo Library: requested only when you choose to share a photo in the community feature.
• Android — Microphone: requested only when you use audio or worship-related features.

Permissions are requested at the time of use and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate and improve the app for our church community:

• To create and manage your account
• To enable community features such as posts, prayer requests, and volunteer sign-ups
• To send you church notifications and announcements (only if you opt in)
• To provide access to sermons, worship services, and church resources
• To improve the app experience based on general usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to any third party.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time directly within the app. Upon account deletion, your personal information — including your email, name, prayer requests, posts, and volunteer information — will be permanently deleted from our systems.

Data stored locally on your device (Bible reading progress, language preference, notification settings) can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

• Delete your account and associated data via the in-app account deletion feature
• Withdraw consent for device permissions at any time through your device settings
